Instant Banking Tools

We make it easy to bank online. From your laptop to mobile device, you’ll never have to worry about your money, no matter where you are.

  • Login with your Username and Password
  • Follow the prompts to activate your device and/or setup your security settings

Remote Tools

Once you’re enrolled in online banking, you’ll have a variety of options. From paying your bills to depositing your checks, we’ve got you covered.

  • Take charge of your finances by scheduling payments all from one source located right in your Instant Maple online banking.
  • Payment are processed according to your schedule, not the billers.
  • Schedule payments as one-time or recurring payments; from your rent to your gym
    membership.
  • You can receive eBills directly through Maple Pay for select billers
  • No need for stamps and envelopes
  • You must have an active online banking account
  • Log into online banking from any device
  • Open the menu. Under Services, select Maple Pay.
  • From the Bill Pay dashboard select Add Payees and schedule payments
  • Choose Transfer/Send Money to add People and/or Your accounts with other financial institutions.
Credit cards in wallet
Remote Control Cards is a convenient option available through both Instant Maple Online and Mobile Banking. The feature allows you to control the status of your debit card.  This gives you peace of mind, as well as the ability to protect yourself from fraud!

 

  • Log in to your Instant Maple Online or Mobile Banking
  • From the Menu, Select “Remote Control Cards”
  • Any available cards will be shown.
  • Select one of the following from the drop down menu.
    • Active-Keeps card fully active
    • Disabled-Transactions will be denied until you change the status to Active.
    • Lost-This will permanently disable your card. Any future transactions will be denied and your card will be captured if used. This action cannot be reversed.
    • Stolen-This will permanently disable your card, transactions will be denied and your card will be captured if used. This action cannot be reversed.

Instant Maple is fantastic, but tack on E-Delivery and you’ve got FABULOUS service right at your fingertips. You must use Instant Maple internet or mobile banking to participate in E-Delivery. The statements are available through the banking portal and are not sent as part of the email  notification when statements are avaiable.  You can also receive your transaction receipts via email which means no more lost receipts and a step in environmental savings!

  • Log in to Instant Maple Online/Mobile Banking
  • Go to Menu/Account Settings
  • Edit/Manage Emails
  • This will open to any existing email address you have or you may add an email account.
  • After selecting the email account, select the appropriate check boxes
    • eStatements
    • eNotices
    • eAlerts
    • Use as Security Contact
  • Save
  • Your documents will now be viewable within your Instant Maple Online/Mobile Banking.  
  • Tip: Maple FCU may purge older documents over time. It would be a good idea to save copies to your computer/device of any documents you wish to keep as permanent or longer term record.

Deposit checks directly into any of your Maple FCU accounts by taking a photo of the properly endorsed check. No need to visit the night drop or rush to the credit union before closing time.

View User Agreement

  • Log in to Instant Maple Mobile
  • Tap “Deposit” (camera icon) on the bottom of the screen
  • Read and follow the instructions shown. 
  • Properly endorse your item 
  • Place Check on a dark background and ensure you have good lighting.
  • Make sure the check is the only thing in visible in the interior photo box and all corners/edges are visible.
  • Tap “Front of Check” to take a photo of the check. Tap anywhere on the screen once the image is ready. Tap “Looks Good” if the image meets the above standards.
  • Roll the check over. Tap “Back of Check” and repeat the process. (Make sure the proper endorsement of For Remote Deposit Only at Maple FCU/MFCU Account # “ and you signature is present) Items without proper endorsement will be rejected.
  • Verify the images before Tapping “Continue”. Choose “Retake” to fix any image issues.
  • Select which account you wish to deposit into.
  • Enter the “check amount” and/or verify the dollar amount. (You may deposit up to $2,500 per day). Enter description if you choose. Tap “Continue”
  • Tap Deposit
  • “Your check has been submitted for processing” will show if the deposit has processed.
  • Tip: RDC items are reviewed weekdays only. Deposits uploaded after 5pm CST may be reviewed for posting the next business day.
  • Tip: Holds are immediately placed on all RDC items. Once processed, up to $200 will made available by the business day following the day of deposit. Additional funds will be available within 5 business days.
  • Tip: Watch your email on file with us for notice of rejected items so that you can properly respond.
  • Tip: Keep your paper check for 30 days AFTER depositing it before destroying it.

ACH Services for Members

We work well with other institutions in order to keep your money safe. From payroll deduction to auto pay, we can transfer your money effectively.

We accept electronic deposits and withdrawals through ACH (automated clearing house). Maple FCU also participates with payroll deduction with most of our select employee groups. Payroll deduction is a great way to save and pay your loans.

ACH origination (ACHO) allows us to initiate one time or recurring transactions on your behalf. ACHO, or commonly referred to as auto pay, can be used to transfer deposits and payments from one financial institution to another.  You can set up ACHO if you are an Instant Maple internet banking user through the external transfers feature.

Personal Services for Members

We offer the following services for your convenience and personal use.

Access to your share draft and share accounts are available with our Qwik Cash card. You must have a share draft account to have a Qwik Cash card. We recommend usage as a “credit” purchase anytime you use your Qwik Cash card. By choosing credit you get the advantage of the “VISA” backing of your transaction, plus you are also helping Maple because we pay less for the transaction than by choosing Debit. Choose “debit” only when the merchant does not accept “VISA” or if you are withdrawing cash at an ATM (automated teller machine). Remember that even though this card has the “VISA” logo it is not a line of credit, but accesses the funds available in your share draft account. Treat this transaction just as you would a check by itemizing it in your check register. Transactions using your Qwik Cash card generally clear your account within two (2) business days of usage.

Protect your account and access to your debit card with the Maple Mobile banking Remote Control Cards program.  As easy as the press of a button you can shut off your debit card to prevent unauthorized access in between uses or if you’ve lost your card.

Make deposits and loan payments after hours. Your transactions will be posted the next business day. Our drop box is located in the first lane of drive-thru just before the window.

Maple FCU has two onsite ATMs at our location 105 Toledo Drive in Lafayette and Iberia Medical Center (vending room): 2315 E. Main St. New Iberia, LA. For your convenience we are part of the MoneyPass Network along with many of our Credit Union counterparts in the area. By belonging to this network you pay no service charges at MoneyPass outlets. Look for the black and green MoneyPass logo for surcharge free ATM usage.
